We get it directly from our network of 800+ farmers and growers. We know warehouses are the enemy of fresh, so we use a system called cross-docking. This means we receive your pre-ordered whole foods at a hub, then we pack and send. That way there’s no storing (which supermarkets do - up to a year!). You’ll taste the difference in year old apples vs 48-hour-picked-apples.
